Broncos Leagues Club in Brisbane offered their members the chance to win

a new Toyota Camry as well as a range of cash prizes, with their ‘Bid For A Camry’ promotion.

Objective

  • To attract members to the Broncos Club on Wednesday nights,
    by offering a Camry as a prize

Mechanics

The ‘Bid For A Camry’ promotion was advertised in the Club magazine and online, inviting members to enter for their chance to win.

Members winning $5 or more on the Clubs poker machines were automatically entered into the barrel for the draws.

Every Wednesday night 20 members were randomly selected from all the entries to play ‘Bid For A Camry’ Promotion.

Each of the 20 finalists entered their ‘Bid’ into the customised web page, to see if they could guess the correct price of the Camry.

If their ‘Bid’ was correct they won the Camry.

Outcome

The members found the opportunity to win a Camry very
enticing, with large attendance recorded on the draw days and an increase in the use of poker machines, as well as other services.
