  • To offer members a grand prize of $10,000 with lots of attempts
    for the members to participate

Mechanics

Southside Sport Club at Mt Gravatt QLD held a ‘Spell “Southside” Birthday Bonanza’ promotion to coincide with their 10th birthday celebrations.

Members had 3 months to get as many entries into the barrel as possible prior to the draw night.

With 2 nights of preliminary draws leading up to the grand finale.

The Club had higher than average attendance for all of the 3 draw nights.

With 40 lucky members getting to be the finalists over the 3 draw nights for the ‘Spell “Southside” Santa’ promotion.

All contestants won various levels of consolation prizes, depending on how many correct letters they selected.

One lucky finalist won the $10,000 major prize.

Outcome

With 2 nights of preliminary draws leading up to the grand finale, the Club had higher than average attendance for all of the 3 draw nights.

The demand for Club’s services increased and the overall profile of the Club benefited from the exposure and from having a winner of the MAJOR Prize.

Marketing Manager Chris Costello ran the promotion and ensured it was fun and entertaining for all participants and attendees.
